Mary Ann Minihan, 75, of Topeka, passed away on November 27, 2022, at the House at Midland Care.
She was born in Topeka, Kansas on December 6, 1946, the daughter of Peter C. and Margaret (Hafner) Mauer. She was a 1964 graduate of Hayden High School.
Mary Ann was retired as a Clerk for the State of Kansas after 19 years of service.
She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. Mary Ann enjoyed flower gardening, working in her yard, shopping, watching golf and football, and going to the Casino with her husband.
Mary Ann married James “Jim” Minihan Jr. at St. Joseph Catholic Church on September 3, 1966. He survives of the home. She is also survived by a son Andy Thomas, and five siblings: Charles (Joyce) Mauer, Bob (Carolyn) Mauer, Jim (Vicki) Mauer, Pat Huey and Karen (Rod) Harman.
A Committal Service will be held at Holy Trinity Mausoleum Chapel in Mt. Calvary Cemetery on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will be in the mausoleum.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Midland Hospice Care Inc., and sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66603.
