Matthew Andrew Tetuan

Matthew Andrew Tetuan, 35, of Topeka, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 2, 2024, at Stormont Vail Health.

He was born October 28, 1988, in Topeka, the son of Michael Tetuan Jr. and Leona Marie (Sawyer) Crain. 

Matthew attended school in Topeka, graduating from Shawnee Heights High School in 2008. He went on to attend Allen County Community College and Pinnacle Career Institute.

He collected toys and loved playing video games, especially APEX and GTA.

Matthew is survived by his mother, Leona Crain; siblings, Tanner Tetuan, Samantha Tetuan, Alicia Adams, Michael Paul Tetuan, Christy Tetuan, Daniel Miller, Anna Sawyer, Nathan Sawyer; stepbrother, Ryan Crain; partner, Sheldon Kern; aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father; sister, Kelli Miller; stepfather, Allen Crain; and grandparents.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday, August 9, at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 11:00am, Saturday, August 10, at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home.
