Michael J. Brady

Michael J. Brady, 72, passed away on June 15, 2021 at the Kaw River Care and Rehabilitation Center in Edwardsville, Kansas.

He was born in Topeka, Kansas on September 23, 1948 the son of Walter and Loretta (Melchior) Brady.

Michael received his Bachelor’s of Science degree from Washburn University and did graduate work at the University of Kansas.  He worked as a Chemist for KU Med Center.

He was a member of the Catholic faith and attended St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Michael married Carol Jean Hirsch in Topeka, Kansas on October 20, 1979.  She preceded him in death.  He is survived by his brother Patrick J. (Rose Michelle) Brady of Genoa, Nevada, a nephew Mathew (Andrea) Brady and their son Jaxon, and a niece Mariska (Igor) Holas-Brady and their daughter Loretta “Etta”. 

Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 18^th at 1:30 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
