Michael Louis Grabauskas

Michael Louis Grabauskas, 78, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024, at Midland Hospice House in Topeka.

He was born October 21, 1946, in Topeka, to Joseph Paul Grabauskas Sr. and Ann L. Rodriquez Grabauskas. Mike graduated from Topeka High and went on to attend Vo Tech and Business College.

Mike enjoyed golfing, hunting, and watching the Green Bay Packers and New York Yankees. He was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church and volunteered with the cleaning crew at church.

He worked as a warehouse manager for Gardner Floor Covering.

Mike married Marilyn Jane Fisher on October 24, 1970, at Assumption Catholic Church in Topeka, and celebrated 54 years together. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include sons, Matt Grabauskas and wife Jodi of Topeka, and Nathan Grabauskas of Topeka; sisters, Mary Ann Kenny of Redfield, South Dakota, Sandra Grabauskas of Topeka, Betty Fowler of Topeka, Janet Grabauskas of Topeka; a brother, John Grabauskas of Topeka; grandchildren, Bryan Grabauskas and Mckenzie Grabauskas; great grandchildren, Lucas Ray and Flynn Ray.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Grabauskas; daughter in law, Melynda Grabauskas; brothers, Anthony Grabauskas, Charles Grabauskas, Tom Grabauskas, Joseph Grabauskas Jr.; and sister, Sophia Golden.

A rosary will be prayed at 6:00pm, Thursday, December 5, at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home with a visitation with the family following from 6:30pm-8:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am, Friday, December 6, at St. Matthew Catholic Church. 

Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery-Topeka.
