Michael "Mike" Francis Gordon

Michael “Mike” Francis Gordon, age 66, of Topeka, KS, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at The University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS.

Mike was born the son of Richard “Dick” and Ruth (Taylor) Gordon on December 30, 1958, in Sioux City, Iowa.

On July 1, 2001, Mike married Gloria Olivares in Las Vegas, NV. Together, they shared 23 years of marriage. They loved to spend time together and take trips to Iowa to see family and friends. His greatest passion was cheering on his beloved sports teams, the Kansas State Wildcats, Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs. Whether in person, watching tv and tuning in to the radio, Mike was faithful fan. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and adoring his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria; children, Jill Likness (Josh Howard), Ryan Likness (Marysa), Delaney Moege (Jacob), and Dakota Bowers (Tanner). Other survivors include his five grandchildren, Ainsley Likness, Braelyn Likness, Grayson Moege, Rhyan Moege, Charlotte Bowers, and a sixth grandson on the way. He is also survived by his brother, Joseph Gordon (Diane).

Mike is preceded in death by his parents.

Viewing with visitation will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home.
