Orion Kai McGreevy

Orion Kai McGreevy entered this world on July 24, 2024, in Topeka, KS. He gained his angel wings on July 30, 2024, after six days on earth.

He was born to the proud parents of Luke and Hannah (Vialpando) McGreevy.

Orion Kai was the sweetest surprise. He loved to be held and swaddled. Although we had such a short time together, he taught us a lot. He had a few nicknames; baby Orrie, KaiKai, and OK. We called him OK because several times throughout the pregnancy, the labor and birth, and his passing, he would always show us things were going to be OK. He made such a huge impact with six days on earth, and we will always love him dearly.

Survivors include his beloved parents; cherished siblings, Annelise, Ryker, Easton, Declan, and Sylas McGreevy. Other survivors include his paternal grandparents, Lori and David Harrison; and grandmother, Mitzi McGreevy; great grandparents, Joyce Guynn and Linda McGreevy; as well as many paternal aunts and uncles. On the maternal side, Orion is survived by his grandparents, Tom and Marilyn Vialpando; great grandparents, Marilyn Rios, and Terry and Shar Shockey; as well as one maternal aunt and uncle.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Finnegan McGreevy; paternal grandfather, Terry McGreevy; and great grandfather, Les Guynn. He is also preceded in death by his maternal great grandfather, Charles Vialpando.

A private viewing and funeral service was held at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home.
