Rebecca Ann Blancas Ramos

July 5, 1964 — March 22, 2021

Rebecca Ann Blancas Ramos, 56, of Topeka, passed away on March 22, 2021 at Midland Hospice House.

She was born in Topeka, Kansas on July 5, 1964 the daughter of Rogers and Mary (Luna) Blancas.

She was a 1982 graduate of Highland Park High School where she was a cheerleader.

Rebecca worked as an Administrative Assistant for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas.

She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  Rebecca enjoyed spending time with her children and attended all their activities and sporting events.  She also loved to spend time with her entire extended family at social gatherings.

She is survived by her parents, Rogers and Mary Blancas of Topeka.  She married Humberto Ramos Jr. and is survived by their children, Vincent, Alexis and Natalie Ramos all of the home, her siblings; Theresa Blancas of Mesa, AZ, Roger Blancas Jr. of Lukeville, AZ, Peter Blancas, Angela Soto, Thomas Michael Blancas and Anthony (Lisa) Blancas all of Topeka, and her four-legged baby, Rallo.

Rebecca was cremated.  A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, March 29th from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where a rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 6:30 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital or Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Ave., Topeka, Kansas  66603.
