Richard William Herbert

Richard William Herbert, 70, of Topeka, passed away at his home on May 27, 2024.

He was born October 10, 1953, in New York City, New York, the son of Charles William Herbert and Fidelia Rose (Schmeidler) Herbert.

Richard graduated from high school in New York City.  

He enjoyed reading, taking walks, going to the public library, and being part of the Breakthrough House community in Topeka.

Richard is survived by cousin, Marilyn Vasquez and husband Phillip of Topeka, as well as extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

No public services are planned, and cremation has taken place.
