Robert "Bob" E. Boggs

Robert E. “Bob” Boggs, 75, of Topeka, passed away on October 18, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born in Atchison, Kansas the son of Geneva (Kinney) Boggs on August 13, 1946. 

Bob was a 1964 graduate of Topeka High School.  He attended Technical School and was a Pressman for Adam’s Business Forms prior to his retirement in 2006.

Bob enjoyed golfing, riding motorcycles, listening to music on vinyl records and had a witty personality.  He played softball in his younger days and always enjoyed supporting his grandchildren and their sporting events.  He was the one who ran the grill for family special occasions.

He married Charyll M. Purcell on August 3, 1968 in Topeka.  She survives.  He is also survived by his children, Angela Pomeroy (Derek), Dana Daniels (Darin), and Taylor Corbin all of Topeka; three grandchildren, Payton Moss of Overland Park, Kansas, and Tanner and Terra McNutt of Topeka.  He is also survived by a sister Judy Streeter (Dick) and a sister-in-law Nancy Boggs all of Topeka and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Woodrow Boggs.

Bob was cremated.  A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 22^nd, at 2:00 p.m. at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home.  His family will receive friends after the service.
