Roger Lee Pummill, Sr.

Roger Lee Pummill, Sr., age 86, of Topeka, KS, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023, at LMH in Lawrence, KS.

He was born the son of Louis P. and Maude M. (Morrison) Pummill on December 5, 1936, in Sedalia, MO. Roger married Patricia Ruth Bryant. She passed away on February 20, 2000.

Roger was the owner and operator of The Oakland Bakery for over 10 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching movies, especially westerns, playing the guitar and playing video games.

He is survived by his sons, Roger Lee Pummill, Jr., Ronald Louis Pummill, and Anthony Pummill; two brothers, Darrell Pummill and Ronald Pummill.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents; wife; brother, Gerald Pummill and sister, Betty Jean.

Cremation has taken place.

Memorial visitation will be held from 10:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., followed by a memorial service at 11:00 A.M., at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery-Topeka.
