Rosemary Holmes

April 2, 1964 — December 15, 2020

Rosemary Holmes, 56, of Topeka, passed away on December 15, 2020 at Stormont-Vail Hospital.

She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on April 2, 1964 the daughter of Moses and Mary Lee (Riley) Holmes. 

Rosemary was a homemaker.  She loved music, fashion, art, cooking and going out to eat.  She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.  She was loved by many and her family and friends will miss her deeply.  Memories of her hold a special place in the hearts of those who loved her.

She is survived by two daughters, Ankeyta White and Prinsucola White, five grandchildren, Zablon, Nijiye, Justice, Sincere and Aurelio.  She is also survived by her siblings, Mattie, Gladys, Gloria, Betty, DeDe and Albert.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Charlie.

Rosemary was cremated.  A Homegoing Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, January 9th, 2021 at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home.  Her family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour and then again following her homegoing until 5:00 p.m. 

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to help her grandchildren and can be sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66603.
