Sue Ann McPherson

Sue Ann McPherson, 86, of Topeka, passed away on November 10, 2020 at the Topeka Presbyterian Manor.

She was born in Topeka, Kansas on December 17, 1933 the daughter of Wilber F. and Olive (Coblentz) Ferrin.

Sue owned and operated the Sunshine Maid Service for 35 years.  She also taught Tap-Dancing and loved to dance.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.  Sue was a loving caregiver to her husband.

She was a member of the First Christian Church and a past member of the Victory Highway Club.

Sue married Wallace D. McPherson on May 7, 1952 in Topeka.  He predeceased her on January 7, 2011.  She is survived by two sons, Michael (Chris) McPherson of Tecumseh, and Brian (Jan) McPherson of Topeka, six grandchildren, Whitney, Wade, Heather, Michael, Shelly and Traci, ten great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.  Sue is also survived by two sisters, Linda Womack of Topeka and Mary Schell of Boise, Idaho.

Sue was cremated.  Due to the current COVID situation her family has chosen to postpone her memorial visitation until a later date.  When it is scheduled a new notice will be published at that time.  Inurnment will also be at a later date next to her husband in Leavenworth National Cemetery.
