Tanna Marie Breece

Tanna Marie Breece, 77, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2024, at The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus, in Topeka.

She was born September 1, 1946, in Topeka, Kansas. She was the daughter of George W. Breece and Alberta Marie (Hurd) Breece.

Tanna attended Hanau Jr. School while her father was stationed in Hanau, Germany. She graduated from Rosepine High School in Rosepine, Louisiana.

Tanna was a talented seamstress and enjoyed crafting. Her passion was raising and showing Shelty dogs while she lived in Alexandria, Louisiana.

She worked in the healthcare industry as a computer operator and secretary at Rapides Hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Survivors include a sister, Amy Marie Breece of Lawrence, Kansas; and cousin, Janice Marie Seputis of Addison, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents George and Alberta; brother, Johnny Breece; aunt, Gladys (Hurd) Veldhuizen; uncle, Harley Albert Veldhuizen; and fiancé Robert “Bobby” Stephenson.

Cremation has taken place, and a graveside service will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, August 22, at Topeka Cemetery.
