Vincent C. Llamas, age 49, of Topeka, KS, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2020 at Stormont Vail-Health in Topeka. He was born the son of Basilio “Ben” C. and Mary (Sullivan) Llamas on March 6, 1971 in Chicago, IL. Vincent enjoyed walking, animals, especially dogs, being out in nature and spending hours enjoying a nice fire by the chiminea. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with family and watching the children interact. He had a way of talking that was entertaining to many. Vincent will be missed by many friends and all his family. Survivors include sisters, Conception “Connie” Roberts, Mary Ann Jones, Clara Guerrin, Rosa Granado, Anita “Thumbelina” Garcia and Josette Hernandez; brother, Ben C. Llamas, Jr.; aunts, Ramona M. Perez, Maria Martinez and Agustina M. Williams, and uncle Joseph R. Martinez as well as many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister Carol Hernandez, brother, Thomas “Joey” Llamas; aunt, Helen Chavez and uncle, Ruben Llamas. Vincent will lie in state on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home from 4-6:00 P.M. for a public viewing not exceeding 10 people at a time per state restrictions. The family will not be present. Cremation will follow the visitation and a memorial graveside inurnment will take place at a later date at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Those details will be announced once available. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Vincent’s loving memory to Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
