William "Bill" Herman Vehige

William “Bill” Vehige, 71, of Garden City, KS passed away Friday, July 15, 2022, at St. Catherine’s Hospital in Dodge City, KS.

Bill was born March 26, 1951, to the late August Joseph “AJ” and Agnes Vehige in Lawrence, KS.

Bill was a gentle, easy-going soul; he enjoyed van rides, walks, watching T.V., and sweets, especially pop and doughnuts.

He is survived by his brothers, Joseph Vehige; Greg Vehige and wife Mila; Jim Vehige; Daniel Vehige and wife Mandy; Andrew Vehige and wife Kim; sisters, Erma Cain; Mary Kennedy; many nieces, nephews, friends and caregivers.

Graveside services will take place at 11:00 A.M., on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Mt. Calvary Cemetery-Topeka. 

Memorial contributions can be made in Bill's memory to Mosaic in Garden City. Contributions can be mailed or left with the funeral home.
